Charlie Villanueva beef with KG?

According to SI.com's The Point Forward, Detroit Piston forward Charlie Villanueva has taken serious issue to comments made by the Boston Celtic's Kevin Garnett. Villanueva posted several anger Tweets referring to the Boston Big Man, saying he "talks alot of crap", and that Garnett even called the bald Villanueva a "cancer patient".

Villanueva Tweeted "[KG]'s prob never been
in a fight, I would love to get in a ring with him,
I would expose him."

Seems like a strange target for Garnett to vilify, if this is true. The report on SI says there is a chance Villanueva did not actually posts the Tweets, and there have been no confirmations issued by any of the involved parties as to the validity of the statements.

Just a touchy subject for Garnett to try and make a joke about (again, if the report is true). As Villanueva posted on his Twitter account "CV31": "KG called me a cancer patient, I'm pissed because, u know how many people died from cancer, and he's tossing it like it's a joke."

The latest from ESPN writer Justin Verrier is that the Pistons have confirmed the comments were made by Villanueva himself. This raises the intensity of the situation, placing KG in the spotlight.

When the Celtics and Pistons squared-off Tuesday night, both Garnett and Villanueva were issued technical fouls during the game.

More information to come; very strange set of circumstances, but Celtic and all NBA fans alike have to be extremely disappointed in KG if he did indeed make the remarks
