So why is Water Cooler Talk with The Waterboy any different?

It's simple: we can write, we know what we're talking about and it concerns teams and situations near and dear to your heart. We focus on the teams we know the best, and provide information and analysis on those teams that you can't find anywhere else. We won't pretend to be experts on everything. Instead, we're going to approach our coverage of the athletic world with the inquisitive nature of a reporter and the fanatical understanding of a fan.

Sports play a big role everywhere in America, but they are perhaps most loved and respected (or at least scrutinized) by the people of the Midwest. Both coasts and the South have their own breed of fans, but no one can match the passion or dedication of fans from Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh or any of the other great sports areas in our region. All of our writers are either currently based in the area or grew up living and breathing sports in this region, and our coverage will mirror the character of our audience: diligent, respectful and honest. We won't pull any punches, we'll give credit where it's due, and we'll never let the national sports media tell us what to think.
